Jo and Matt are locals who love living on the Matakana Coast. They live in the original farmhouse on the property with their three teenage sons who attend the local Mahurangi College and their 10 year old Golden Retriever ‘Gwen’.
The Green Tent is a spacious Mongolian style yurt which has been thoughtfully designed to provide chic, completely self-contained, access friendly luxury accommodation. The yurt sits in a stunning rural location just a few minutes from vibrant Matakana.
Being located on the Matakana cycle trail is a major bonus for both cycling and walking whether it be for exercise or recreation.
Restaurants, cafes, wineries & breweries, boutique shopping and beaches are aplenty. Jo is happy to recommend where to eat, shop and play. A comprehensive folder is in the yurt for your convenience.
